Púca
The Púca is an Irish shapeshifting spirit (púca, plural púcaí) of Celtic, English, and Channel Islands folklore. It appears as a sleek black horse with golden eyes, or as goat, cat, rabbit, raven, fox, wolf, goblin, or dog—always dark-furred. It entices riders on wild nocturnal journeys but unlike the kelpie does not drown them. Controlled by sharp spurs (cold iron).
