Parikhan
Parikhan is the peri-princess of the Tajik fairy tale 'Shahabaskhan and Parikhan.' Left abandoned in the forest by the khan's men, she is saved by the hero Shahabaskhan, and their romance unfolds in the manner of the peri tales of Persianate Central Asian storytelling, in which fairy maidens wed mortal heroes. She is a fairy princess, not a restless ghost.
