Patasola
Patasola ('single leg') is a Colombian vampire forest spirit. She appears as a beautiful woman to lure male hunters deep into the jungle, then reveals her true form: one-legged, one-breasted, fanged, with bovine hoof. She devours flesh and drinks blood. Origin varies: scorned mother, unfaithful wife, or wicked woman mutilated as punishment. Protects forest animals from human predation.
