Peikko
Peikko is the Finnish word for 'troll', a hairy forest being from small to enormous, dwelling in dark woods and rocky ridges. Can shapeshift into stone landscape for centuries. Not a distinct named figure but the generic Finnish troll, cognate with Scandinavian troll. In Kalevala, peikot appear as forest-dwelling obstacles.
