Pugwis
Pugwis is an aquatic being of Kwakwaka'wakw tradition, described in Kwakwaka'wakw mythology as a sort of sea creature with a fish-like face and large incisors. Dwelling in the coastal waters of the Pacific Northwest, it is counted among the supernatural beings of the sea; the benevolent whale-helper role does not appear in the attested accounts.
