Puk
Puk (Pûks) is a North German/Danish household spirit, cognate with English Puck and the nisse/tomte. Small, red-capped being performing chores for milk and bread, cruel if slighted. The combined Nis Puk unites nisse and puk traditions. Also appears as Drak, a fiery flying shaft bringing grain. Luther recorded a Heintzlein variant.
