Pyinsarupa
The pyinsarupa is the Burmese chimeric guardian, from Pali pañcarūpa, 'five forms': a composite of the elephant, bullock, horse, white carp, and the tonaya (a horned leo-dragon); some renderings use lion, elephant, water buffalo, white carp, and hamsa. It appears in hsaing waing orchestra finials, on Myanmar Airways' logo, and a royal barge's name, symbolizing unity of diverse powers.
