Qalupalik
The Qalupalik (Qallupilluit) is an Inuit sea creature of Greenland and Arctic Canada that kidnaps children wandering too close to ice floes. Described as green-skinned, slimy, with long hair, webbed hands, scales, fins, wearing an amauti (woman's parka) made of eider feathers to carry victims. Emits a paralyzing shrill sound; snip can shape-shift (pilutitaminik).
