Qalupalik
Qalupalik (Qallupilluit) is a humanoid sea creature of Inuit tradition that dwells beneath Arctic shorelines and ice floes, waiting to snatch children who wander too close to the water. She carries her victims away in the hood of her amaut parka, and her eerie, ethereal humming lures the curious. The legend teaches children to keep away from dangerous sea ice.
