Rùa
Rùa, the turtle of Vietnamese legend, is best known as Thần Kim Quy, the Golden Turtle God who lent An Dương Vương the magic claw that built his citadel and later reclaimed Lê Lợi's sword in Hoàn Kiếm Lake. As a cosmic turtle it also bears the world, an image of the enduring Vietnamese earth.
