Raven Ancestor-Spirit (Cheyenne)
Not independently attested in Cheyenne folklore. No source records a raven ancestor-spirit among the Cheyenne; their trickster and transformer is Veeho (sometimes Wihio), a spider who appears as a man and whose foolish, self-serving deeds explain the world. A raven-based ancestor spirit is a modern invention, almost certainly borrowed from the Raven traditions of the Pacific Northwest.
