Raven Deity of Ute
Not independently attested in Ute folklore. No Ute deity or guardian is a raven; the culture heroes of Ute tradition are the creator Sinawav (Sinauf) and his brothers Coyote and Wolf, and Coyote is the tribe's great trickster who let the peoples escape from a bag of sticks. A 'Raven Deity of Ute' appears to be a modern invention, likely confused with the Raven traditions of the Pacific Northwest.
