Raven Nang Kilslas Haida
Nang Kílslaas, 'The One Whose Voice is Obeyed,' is the Haida name for Raven, the creator-transformer who shaped Haida Gwaii and stole the sun, moon, stars, and fresh water to bring them to the world. Raven shifts freely between human, animal, and object forms, and the Xuuya Kaagang.ngas, or 'Raven Traveling' stories, record his many journeys and tricks.
