Raven Guardian (Ashanti)
Not independently attested as a raven guardian in Ashanti folklore, and the Guatemala tag is a misassignment. The Ashanti are a Ghanaian people; their celebrated trickster is Anansi the spider, and no raven guardian appears in Ashanti tradition. Ravens figure mainly in northern traditions such as those of the Pacific Northwest and Siberia. The record is an evident cross-cultural mashup.
