Rounces are Vincentian spirit-animals causing night terrors by riding sleepers, producing paralysis and oppression. Documented in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines folklore as nocturnal entities that sing and induce sleep paralysis, related to the wider Caribbean duppy/jumbie complex.
