Rumpelstiltskin
Rumpelstiltskin (Rumpelstilzchen) is a German fairy-tale imp collected by the Brothers Grimm (1812, KHM 55). A miller's daughter, locked to spin straw into gold, is aided by a little man who demands her necklace, ring, and finally her firstborn.
