Salmon Spirit of Cree
Not attested in Cree folklore. While Eastern James Bay Cree have a word for landlocked salmon (uninv), salmon is not a mythic spirit; Cree traditions feature the little people (memegwesi), the wîhtiko, and the trickster Wîsahkêcâhk. No 'salmon spirit' appears in the recorded Cree corpus.
