Salmon Water-Spirit of Navajo
Not attested in Navajo folklore. The Navajo world centers on the Holy People, mountain spirits and water beings such as Water Buffalo, but salmon is not a Navajo figure — the Southwest has no native salmon. The entry is a coastal motif mistakenly attached to Diné tradition.
