Santa Muerte
Santa Muerte ('Holy Death') is a folk saint and personification of death venerated in Mexico, blending the Aztec death goddess Mictēcacihuātl with the Spanish Grim Reaper. Her robe colors mark the request — white for purification, red for love, gold for money, black for protection, green for justice. Despite the Church's rejection, her cult grew in the early 2000s, among the marginalized.
