Sasabonsom is a terrifying giant monster in Akan mythology that dwells in the deepest parts of the forest. Unlike the relatively benign Mmoatia, Sasabonsom is malevolent — a huge, hairy creature with large eyes and long arms that sits on high branches and preys on humans who venture too deep.
