Sea Maid
Not independently attested as an indigenous Monegasque folk figure in documented folklore or academic sources. Monaco's documented sea-maid associations are modern: the Little Mermaid statue overlooking Larvotto Beach (2000), a Danish homage linked to Prince Rainier III, and the Grimaldi curse legend of the wronged maiden. No Monegasque siren or 'sea maid' appears in regional folklore collections.
