Seri Gumum (Dragon of Tasik Chini)
Seri Gumum is a legendary dragon (naga) said to dwell in Tasik Chini in Pahang, Malaysia. According to Orang Asli tradition, a beautiful princess was transformed into a serpentine guardian of the lake's mystical waters. Local folklore holds that Seri Gumum protects the lake, and that harming its environment invokes the dragon's wrath.
