Seven Bison
Seven Bison are sacred spirit animals in Crow mythology who fought against the monster Bones Together. After breaking their legs against Bones Together's impenetrable bone armor, they were healed through the first Sweat Lodge ceremony performed by their human companion. After this victory and healing, the Creator raised the Seven Bison into the sky to become the Big Dipper constellation, where they can be seen eternally following the seasons. They represent sacrifice, healing, and the celestial connection between earth and sky
