Shadhavar
The Shadhavar is a legendary antelope-like creature from medieval Muslim bestiaries, thought to have originated in what is now Iraq. It resembles a gazelle or unicorn with a single hollow horn containing 42 hollow branches (72 in some versions, 74 in Flaubert's account). When wind passes through these flute-like cavities, the horn produces enchanting melodies so beautiful that all animals gather to listen.
