Shango

Shango is the Yoruba orisha of thunder, lightning, fire, virility, dance, and justice. Originally the third Alaafin (king) of Oyo, Shango was deified after death and ascended to heaven. He is the patron of twins (Ibeji) and the owner of the double-headed battle axe (oshe), which represents swift divine justice. Shango hurls thunderstones to earth to punish wrongdoers and is known for his fiery temper, powerful drumming, and mastery of the bata drum. His three wives are Oshun, Oba, and Oya. His sacred colors are red and white
