Shape-shifting Demon

The Shape-shifting Demon is a malevolent entity in Comanche creation mythology. It formed in the shadows, envious of the powerful Comanche people created by the Great Spirit. It tormented the Comanche by taking many forms. The Great Spirit cast the demon into a bottomless pit, but before falling, the demon shattered into countless pieces that took refuge in the fangs and stingers of rattlesnakes, scorpions, and spiders, continuing to harm people to this day. This explains the origin of venomous creatures and the existence of evil in the world
