Shichhid (or Chichid) is a Himalayan nature spirit in Uttarakhand/Arunachal folklore — smaller, benign Yeti variant inhabiting rhododendron forests. Local names vary by tribe (Monpa, Sherdukpen, Bhotiya). Described as hairy, forest-dwelling, protective of flora/fauna. Not a major deity but a local forest spirit.
