Sinti
Sinti is the Great Serpent of Choctaw tradition, a water monster with a panther's head and horns that dwells in rivers, lakes and whirlpools. One of the three great spirits alongside the creator and the Raven, Sinti is the dangerous being who can overturn canoes and drag people under. He is both feared and honored, with offerings made to keep his waters calm.
