Sirdalsjøormen
Sirdalsjøormen is a lake serpent or sea monster said to inhabit the connected lakes of Sirdalsvannet and Lundevannet in the Sirdal valley of Sørlandet. The serpent is described as having a horse-like head, a long neck, and a dark body that creates wakes as it moves through the water. It was believed to travel between the two lakes through underground channels. Multiple witness reports have been recorded from the 1800s to modern times, with the last reported observation in November 2016.
