Siring
Siring are dwarfs of Philippine lower mythology, tiny green-skinned beings with pointed ears who dwell in nunuk (banyan) trees and forest mounds. In Teduray and Bagobo tradition they watch over the land, may steal or exchange children, yet aid farmers who respect them with offerings—members of the wider class of mound-and-tree spirits of the forest.
