Sisiutl (Double-Headed Sea Serpent)

spirit-animal · United States · North America

Sisiutl is a supernatural sea serpent of the Kwakwaka'wakw, usually shown as a double-headed snake with two horned serpent heads flanking a central human face, its body marked with crescents. Its glance can turn a person to stone, yet it also grants protective power, and can transform into an invincible war canoe or a warrior's magic belt.
