Skeljaskrímsli (Shell Monster) is a quadrupedal coastal monster from Icelandic folklore, about the size of a bull calf or large horse. Its entire body is covered in a thick coat of shells that rattle loudly as it walks. The creature emits a powerful stench, has reddish eyes, and a phosphorescent glow from its mouth.
