Skinwalker (Yee Naaldlooshii)
Yee naaldlooshii, 'by means of it, it goes on all fours,' is the Navajo term for a harmful witch who can turn into, possess, or disguise itself as an animal, typically by wearing the animal's skin. Skinwalkers are one kind of 'ánti'įhnii, a person who practices evil, the antithesis of Navajo healing values, and are blamed for illness, death and misfortune.
