Skoffín is a deadly hybrid creature in Icelandic folklore, born from the mating of a male Arctic fox and a female tabby cat. The skoffín is partially hairless with bald patches and possesses a deadly gaze — everything it looks at dies instantly. Animals, humans, and even plants wither under its stare. The skoffín changes color with the seasons like the Arctic fox: white in winter, brown in summer.
