Skvader
The Skvader is a Swedish taxidermy hoax from 1918, created by Rudolf Granberg from a tall tale by Håkan Dahlmark (claiming an 1874 hunt). It combines a European hare (front) with a female capercaillie (back/wings). Not genuine folklore but 'fakelore' that entered local culture as a joke — now a symbol of Sundsvall/Medelpad.
