Sky Woman
Sky Woman (Atsi'tsaká:ion, 'Mature Flower') is the primordial mother of Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) creation. She fell from the Sky World through a hole left by an uprooted tree, landed on the back of the Great Turtle, and with a handful of mud brought up by the water animals the earth was created; her line bore the twins who shaped the world.
