Buuti
The name 'Buuti' does not occur in attested Somali tales of Dhegdheer, the cannibal ogress. In the genuine cycle the daughter is left unnamed, though versions do contrast her kindness with her mother's cruelty. The elaborate 'Buuti' biography, including a cursed goddess lineage, appears only on modern fiction and content sites and is not part of Somali oral tradition.
