Spearfinger
Spearfinger, Nûñ'yunu'ï or U'tlun'ta, is a cannibal witch of Cherokee tradition who roamed the mountains of eastern Tennessee and western North Carolina. An old woman armored in stone with a long, sharp forefinger, she cut out the livers of careless travelers and children; only the vulnerable spot on her palm allowed her to be slain.
