Not independently attested as a named entity in Amhara (Ethiopian) tradition. The 'Spider Guardian of Amhara rainforests' appears generic fabrication. Ethiopian guardians include zar (possession cult), ayyana (like Segen), and Christian saints. Anansi the spider trickster is West African/Caribbean, not Ethiopian. No Amhara-specific spider guardian in ethnographic literature (Levine, Hamer).
