Stria
Stria (striga) is a vampire spirit of Bulgarian and Balkan folklore, sometimes a witch who leaves her body at night to harm the living, sucking blood and bringing illness. Related to the Latin striga and the Romanian strigoi, the stria appears in folk medicine and burial customs designed to keep the restless dead in the grave.
