Strzyga
Strzyga is a vampire of Polish folklore, depicted with two hearts, two souls, and sometimes a bird of prey birthmark, who rises at night to drink blood. Families protected themselves by burying suspected strzygi face down, with a stake or brick under the head, or by planting poppies and buckwheat, which the undead must count before feeding.
