Suliskongen (the King of Sulitjelma) is the troll king of the Sulitjelma mountains in Nordland, and the father of the legendary Seven Sisters — Botnkrona, Grytfoten, Skjeringen, Tvillingene (the Twins), Kvasstinden, and Breitinden. According to legend, Suliskongen sent his seven daughters away from their home in Sulitjelma to the island of Landegode for discipline. When Hestmannen pursued them across the sea, the sisters danced on Alsten island to distract him.
