Sun Tsimshian
In Tsimshian myth the Sun is a celestial chief whose son, Walks-All-Over-The-Sky, carries a burning cedar-bark mask across the heavens each day; sparks from his mouth become the stars and his charcoal-faced brother becomes the moon. In the Asdiwal story the Sun tests suitors for his daughter, who appears on earth as a white bear.
