Talamaur
Talamaur is a vampiric figure of the Banks Islands, Vanuatu, described in oral tradition as a blood-drinking, shapeshifting being able to assume seductive forms and to command the spirits of the deceased. Its night-stalking habits and control over the dead set it apart from ordinary sorcerers, linking it to the region's secret-society and ghost lore.
