Tamapua
Not independently attested as a trickster figure of Vanuatu folklore. No scholarly or ethnographic source documents a shapeshifting trickster named 'Tamapua'; the documented trickster deities of Vanuatu are Kpwet of the Banks Islands and Tagaro in the north, and the name resembles the Hawaiian hog-god Kamapua'a. The recorded traits appear generic rather than drawn from Vanuatu tradition.
