Not independently attested in documented Philippine folklore or academic sources. No reference describes a household spirit 'Tamawan'; searches return only Tam-awan Village, a Baguio artist colony and Cordillera living museum, an unrelated proper noun. The recorded house-elf traits resemble Filipino duwende beliefs and appear to derive from conflation.
