Tannit (Neith-Atheme)
Tanit (also Tinnit) was the great goddess of Carthage, a North African deity of sky, fertility and the afterlife, consort of Baal Hammon. Her symbol, a circle above a triangle over a horizontal bar, appears throughout Punic sites. Offerings at the tophet were made to her and Baal Hammon, and she was later identified with Juno Caelestis.
