Tautramunken
Tautramunken (the Monk of Tautra) is a ghostly figure that haunts the ruins of Tautra Cistercian monastery on the island of Tautra in the Trondheimsfjord, near Frosta. The monastery was founded in 1207 and was one of the most important Cistercian houses in Norway until it was dissolved during the Reformation in 1532. The ghost is believed to be a monk who refused to leave the monastery when it was closed, or who was killed during the dissolution.
