Tefolaha
Tefolaha is the founding ancestor of Nanumea atoll in Tuvalu, a partly divine hero said to have come from Tonga and to have established the island's chiefly lines. His spear Kaumaile is a treasured heirloom of the island, and descent from him is claimed by Nanumea's principal families, making him a central figure of Tuvaluan island-origin traditions.
