Tiddalik the Frog
Tiddalik is a giant frog of Gunaikurnai (south-eastern Australian) Dreaming tradition who drank all the water of the world, leaving the land dry and thirsty. To break his spell, the other animals made him laugh; when he did, the waters burst from him to fill the rivers, lakes, and billabongs. His story is told as the origin of the continent's waters.
